Authorization to Perform Work
I authorize Pro Tint Solutions and its technicians to enter the property identified above and perform the window-film services described in this form or an associated estimate, invoice, or work order. I confirm that I am the property owner or am authorized by the property owner to approve this work.
Existing Glass and Property Conditions
I understand that glass, seals, frames, gaskets, coatings, wiring, alarms, sensors, blinds, shades, and surrounding surfaces may have pre-existing defects or concealed conditions. Pro Tint Solutions is not responsible for pre-existing damage or for failure caused by an undisclosed condition that could not reasonably be identified before work began.
Glass Breakage and Thermal Stress
I understand that applying or removing window film changes how glass absorbs and releases heat. Although professional installation practices reduce risk, thermal-stress cracks, seal failure, or glass breakage can occur, especially with damaged, defective, partially shaded, laminated, tempered, insulated, coated, or otherwise incompatible glass. I authorize the work with this understanding. This section does not waive rights or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be waived.
Film Appearance and Curing
I understand that newly installed film may temporarily appear hazy, cloudy, streaked, or contain small water pockets while curing. Curing time varies with film type, weather, exposure, and season. Minor edge gaps, seams where required, and small contamination points may be visible within normal industry installation tolerances and are not automatically defects.
Customer Preparation and Access
I agree to provide safe access to the work area and disclose fragile items, security systems, special coatings, previous films, glass damage, or other relevant conditions. I will remove or secure valuables, furniture, window treatments, decorations, and obstructions unless other arrangements are documented.
Warranty and Care
Manufacturer product warranties and any Pro Tint Solutions workmanship warranty are limited to their written terms. Damage caused by improper cleaning, scraping, chemicals, abuse, building movement, glass failure, third parties, or conditions outside the installer’s control is not covered. I agree to follow the provided care and curing instructions.
Scope Changes and Additional Work
Conditions discovered after work begins may require a revised scope, different film, additional labor, or stopping work. Any material change will be communicated for approval before additional charges are incurred. This waiver does not replace the pricing and payment terms in an estimate, invoice, or service agreement.
Acknowledgment and Electronic Signature
I confirm that I have reviewed this waiver, had the opportunity to ask questions, and voluntarily authorize the described work. I agree that my typed name and electronic acceptance constitute my signature and may be retained as an electronic record. Texas law applies to the extent permitted by law.
